My Pumpkin socks were finished in record time....God Bless the Easter Holidays!
Ive been staring at these socks for over a year now and Ive had the yarn for them for almost as long, but something about them scared me too much and I genuinly thought I wouldnt be able to make them. Boy am I glad I did!
They were my March socks, I suppose, but I'm also classing them as my "October socks" too!
In the bowl this month...
I won this yarn in a competition over on Facebook. Its very vibrant and will certainly liven up my #operationsockdrawer I have developing!
Ive changed the heel pattern to the same as that of the Little Pumpkin socks as I found it so much easier to pick to the stitches with the garter stitch at the sides. Plus I think it might be alittle more hard wearing.
Ive also been darning (yes, really!) my old favourite socks and have actually worn them again since, so the time taken to do that was worth it!...
