I've been Knitting socks for about 2 years now.
I was warned it was addicting, but alas, I didn't listen....
How foolish of me!
Six pairs down the line, with a few breaks in between, I'm now back on mysteady path to "operation sock drawer".
I have some things to learn still; namely how to repare my beloved favourite socks that have rather large holes on their over-worn heels.
The pictures that started it all off....
These are from Domesticali and Trailing Clouds . When I saw this yarn, something inside me made me desperate to learn to knit socks... (I'm yet to get some Mind the Gap yarn, but its no longer made - Insert Crying here- )
Anyway, In the Bowl will be a the update of what I'm currently knitting...
These are called "Little Pumpkin Socks" and you can click on the name to find the link. They have been on my "To-do" list for over a year,, and although its no where near October, I thought I would get started!
I usually knit socks toe-up so this is new to me.
I've also just finished some simple cable socks...
The yarn is called Flower Power by the Knitting Goddess. As soon as I saw the yarn I was in love.
That's all for now. Happy Knitting x
